Erik T. Libby, PA-C
Erik Libby is a physician assistant at Orthopaedic Sports Specialists who has worked closely with our physicians and patients for many years. He graduated with honors from Quinnipiac University with a Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Erik has extensive experience in orthopaedic and sports medicine care and works closely with our physicians in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
Erik also serves as a first assistant in the operating room, assisting with a wide range of orthopaedic and sports medicine procedures at St. Francis Hospital and Lighthouse Surgical Center. He is committed to providing knowledgeable, compassionate, and personalized care while working collaboratively with our physicians to ensure each patient receives the highest level of care.

Robert Brancato, PA-C
Robert Brancato is a physician assistant at Orthopaedic Sports Specialists with more than 10 years of experience in orthopaedics and sports medicine. Dr. Dukas and Dr. Merrill have known and worked with Rob for more than a decade and have long valued his extensive clinical experience and knowledge of sports medicine. His background includes orthopaedic trauma, sports medicine, joint replacement, and surgical care, as well as sports coverage for collegiate and professional athletes.
Rob earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Bridgeport and works closely with Dr. Dukas and Dr. Merrill in the evaluation and treatment of patients. He also serves as a first assistant in the operating room for joint replacement and sports medicine procedures. Rob is committed to providing experienced, compassionate, and personalized care to each patient.

Adam joined Orthopaedic Sports Specialists in 2012 as the Practice Administrator. Adam, a physical therapist, has worked closely with our patients since 2000.

Debbie is a Certified Medical Assistant who has worked with Dr. Joyce since 2001. Her compassion and orthopedic knowledge comforts patients as they are treated for their diagnosis.

Shannon, RN is the Director of Surgical Services for Orthopaedic Sports Specialists. Shannon has worked closely with Dr. Joyce since 1995.

Jennifer is a Certified Medical Assistant. Her background as an experienced MA and office manager contributes to the exceptional care patients receive at OSS.

Concetta is the Surgical Coordinator and Scheduler for both Dr. Dukas and Dr. Merrill. She has been with OSS since 2020. She is instrumental in all aspects that concern perioperative care.

Lisa is an Administrative Assistant and Surgical Authorization Specialist. She started working full-time for Orthopaedic Sports Specialists in 2017.

Jennifer is an Administrative Assistant. She has recently joined OSS in 2025. She provides scheduling and patient check-in & check-out support.

Sue is a Certified Radiology Technician. She does the MRI and study scheduling as well as assists with surgical scheduling and coordination. She has been with Orthopaedic Sports Specialists since 2013.

Janet is our Billing Specialist. Her Coding practices are consistent with the AMA and AAOS Guidelines. She has been apart of the OSS team since 2006.
