Gymnastics Injuries

Gymnasts come to us with a wide range of injuries from elbow dislocations to torn ligaments in the shoulder, to ankle sprains. The impact gymnastic has on all joints makes them prone to sudden and acute injuries, as well as overuse, or chronic injuries. Along with dancers, gymnasts are also very prone to hip injuries. Their hypermobility has proven history of problems where damage can occur within the hip resulting in torn labrum and other internal problems.
